↑ What does "unlimited coverage" mean?
Some photographers put a limit on the amount of pictures taken, or the number of hours they will spend at your wedding. Our “unlimited coverage” ensures we will capture photos of your entire wedding day with no preset limits.
Our full-day unlimited coverage allows us to capture all the most memorable moments of your wedding day—from the salon to the ballroom, from brunch to buffet. We’ll arrive early and go home late!
Unlimited photos means we’ll shoot until we get the image exactly right. When the celebration ends, our work begins. We carefully review and edit every photograph, sculpting our documentary until it tells your story perfectly—one image at a time.
↑ What is the difference between online and printed proofs?
Online proofs allow you to preview your photos through a special website. No special software is needed—just an Internet connection, a web browser and your event password.
Our printed proofs are bound together in a professionally printed ‘proof book’. Gone are the confusing days of sorting through individual “loose” pictures. Our proofs are delivered to you in a specially bound book, allowing you to add notes to photos and select the size, color, and finish for each picture you plan on ordering.
↑ What time will you arrive on our wedding day?
We’ll arrive on your wedding day at the time and location decided upon by you. We setup for your reception on the night before your wedding, so we’ll be able to capture every moment of your special day without worrying about equipment.
If your package includes the rehearsal dinner, we’ll arrive at least an hour early and leave after the last person has gone home.
↑ Do your packages include another photographer?
Yes, all of our packages include an additional photographer! We can’t possibly be in every place at once, so we enlist the help of an assistant to ensure everything goes smoothly and we don’t miss a single shot.
↑ What equipment do you use? Do you shoot digital?
We only use professional-grade equipment to capture your precious memories. We take our work seriously and use only the best tools for the job. We shoot completely digital, which allows us to offer you color, black & white, and sepia versions of your photos without having to change film or camera bodies.
Unlike some photographers, we bring backup equipment to every wedding so that in the event of something going wrong we’ll be able to seamlessly continue capturing photos without interruption.
We use professional gear from Nikon, Canon, Bogen-Manfrotto, Dyna-Lite, Lowepro, Adobe, Apple and others.
↑ Can we switch out items from the á la carte menu for ones that are in the package?
Our packages are offered at an extreme value to you. Unfortunately we don’t allow substitutions, but any item from our á la carte menu can be added to any package.
↑ When do we need to give you a deposit?
A small security deposit is required to reserve your wedding day. The earlier you can pay the deposit in-full the farther in advance you can secure your day.
Our wedding dates fill up fast, and in certain circumstances we can setup a payment plan to accommodate your budget. Alternate payment schedules may be requested prior to booking.
↑ Does Apostrophe Studios offer an incentive for word-of-mouth referrals?
Of course! We’re happy to offer a $100 cash incentive to any couple referred to Apostrophe Studios by you! Be sure to have your friend mention your name when contacting us.
↑ What does it mean when the packages say we get prints in our packages?
All of our packages include a generous amount of professionally printed photos (the number of prints varies with the package). For each print offered, we’ll develop that photo in any size you want 8”×10” or smaller.
For example: if you have 15 prints included in your package, then we’ll print any 15 photos in any number of different sizes, 8”×10” or smaller—i.e. 5 (five) 4”×6”, five (5) 5”×7” and five (5) 8”×10” prints.
You could select 15 different photos in varying sizes, or 15 of the same photos—the choice is yours; the possibilities are nearly endless. Prints larger than 8”×10” are available at the á la carte price.
↑ When do we get our gift from Apostrophe Studios?
“Our Gift to You” is a unique way of showing our appreciation for choosing Apostrophe Studios to capture your wedding day! You can expect to receive your special gift within one week after your deposit has been paid in full.
↑ Can we order more pictures, books, etc. after the wedding and the package has been paid for?
Yes. Any of the items we offer to you can be ordered for an unlimited time. Apostrophe Studios keeps a “digital archive” of your wedding and can provide you with any item from your wedding package at any time—even years after your wedding.
↑ Will you come to our rehearsal dinner?
Sure! Our “Red Carpet” package includes a photographer at your rehearsal/dinner. However, some couples prefer not to have a photographer at their rehearsal so we don’t offer it on all of our packages.
For an additional amount of $250 we’ll show-up at your rehearsal and take an unlimited amount of photos. Like the signature of Apostrophe Studios—we’ll arrive early and go home late.
↑ Will you travel to be at our wedding?
Yes, we’ll travel any distance to photograph your wedding. Whether your wedding is overseas or right down the road, we can be there … even on short notice.
A travel surcharge will be added to any wedding package requiring longer than a 2-hour drive (~120 miles) from Lafayette, Indiana — contact us for more details.
↑ How long after the wedding will it take to get our proofs? Prints? Books?
Proofs are available within four (4) weeks of your wedding day. Printed photos are available within six (6) to eight (8) weeks after your wedding (depending on how soon you tell us what you want).
Books require more time and can take up to nine (9) weeks to be professionally assembled. Other products (such as DVD movies) vary in processing time, but you will have everything from your package no later than ten (10) weeks from your wedding date.
↑ Do you do engagement sessions?
Yes. Engagement sessions are a great way for us to get to know you better and your personal photography style—all of which help us capture great images on your wedding day that are unique to you!
We prefer to do engagement sessions outside of the studio, allowing us to exploit the beautiful world around us. A popular choice is a location that has some meaning to the two of you. This could be where you had your first date, where you got engaged, or somewhere you both like to spend time.
We offer engagement session packages starting at $250 and will take an unlimited amount of photos.
↑ Do you dress formally when photographing a wedding?
Typically, we dress in formal attire for a wedding but our dress code is in accordance with your wedding. We always dress professionally, but will discuss with you in advance what expectations you have on what we wear.
↑ Why do you like to shoot weddings?
Taking pictures is a passion and allows us to help people express themselves through images. There isn’t a more perfect setting for this stage than one’s wedding day.
