Amanda and Richie were married on what could have been the most beautiful Fall day of the entire year!
The weather was in the low 80’s, with a cool, gentle breeze blowing the fresh, crisp autumn air through the trees.

Their wedding was held at the historic Scottish Rite Cathedral in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Scottish Rite Cathedral is a magnificent example of Tudor-Gothic architecture and was built between 1927 and 1929 — it has since been added to the National Register of Historic Places.
The cathedral was built with such precision and craftsmanship that every measurement could evenly be divisible by three (reflecting the three degrees in Freemasonry), with many measurements being divisible by 33 (reflecting the degrees a member of the Scottish Rite can achieve).

Amanda and Richie had been planning their wedding for over a year in advance, and as a result were both calm and relaxed on their wedding day — qualities which greatly contribute to capturing relaxed, natural pictures!

Their wedding colors of orange and green were influenced heavily by their Irish heritage, and looked beautiful when combined together.

Richie and his groomsmen were fun to be around, and like many large groups of guys, were “always up to something” sneaky.

Amanda and Richie opted not to see each other before their ceremony, but the ‘magic’ and romance of getting married was evident in their excitement and emotion of getting their pictures taken.

A 1938 Cadillac Model 75 from Antique Limousines of Indy was waiting to take them away!

This car is the grandfather of the modern limousine and considered by many to be the best looking limousine ever built. It has a beautiful solid black exterior with a beige interior and wide, whitewall tires.

The antique limousine whisked them away “in style” to their wedding reception at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites in Indianapolis, near Keystone at the Crossing and the Fashion Mall. Audio Infusion DJs did a superb job of keeping everyone upbeat and entertained … all … night … long.
I had an incredible time working with Amanda and Richie and am honored to have been chosen to capture such fantastic memories for them. Congratulations!

Kelly and Peter were married two weekends ago at the Indiana State Museum on a beautiful Fall afternoon.
Earlier this year we photographed their lifestyle engagement session at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and have been looking forward to their wedding ever since!
